For Thousands of years people have encountered difficulties, crafted or discovered solutions and passed their discoveries and innovations to subsequent generations. Please find here one man passing on what was gifted, taught, had forced upon him or discovered along his way.
These words have permitted me to enjoy a better life than I deserve by adhering to words that have become more and more precious over the years.
Very little is original to me, though I do add my personal take to each thought. When I can recall the source, I will site it.
There truly is nothing new under the sun, but much under the sun needs to be discovered anew by each generation, and each generation needs to have those who will speak up and show the ones who are listening the way.

What subjects will you find here? Pretty much anything that has to do with Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness. Or at least how to survive in a difficult world. I have had the fantastic opportunity to meet so many common people with uncommonly good sense and learned from each and every one of them.
Charles “Tremendous” Jones a great motivational speaker speaker of days gone by said, “You are today exactly what you will be in five years, except for the books you read and the people you meet.”
So, included here will be bits of knowledge and wisdom gleaned not only from people I’ve met, but through the books I’ve read; some ancient and some more contemporary but their words timeless and relevant to every generation.

What About You?
What are you doing to pass along the lessons you have learned through this life.
It seems that so much noise is being made by “influencers” peddling nonsense and untested theories that really do a disservice to those who are exposed. Like a pathogen being released upon the minds or our youth. The simple minded in search of something shiny and new embrace words that are toxic to the soul. You, dear reader, perhaps have some great words that are tried and true! Please pass these words on to the people in your world. Just because something is “Viral” does not mean it is good or helpful.
Especially I speak to the older generation, of which I am beginning to be one. I see “senior citizens” who embrace ideas, philosophies and blatant stupidity that our grand parents would no doubt have scoffed at or worse taken us to the wood shed when that was a thing. Dear Senior, every new generation needs the seasoned words of seasoned citizens to assist them in finding their way. When the youth brings you some piece of foolishness, don’t be afraid to call it out and shine the light on their egregious ideas. Your words may be unwelcome (goodness, you may “get blocked”) But don’t be afraid of their faces. Just tell them what you know and suspect to be true.
Every generation needs to build upon the previous. Yes, every generation will have its flaws and these should rightly be brought to light as well.
So dear friend. Speak, Write, Email, Text, Engage in real conversation in a loving way those who will listen and benefit from what you know.
