Ahhh looking at the successful person! Look how they live; their life style, their leisure. See how they live.
How do you define success? Free time? Nice things? Freedom to come and go at will? A life of privilege?
Often the youth sees success and says, that’s for me, and goes into debt or becomes discouraged because trying to live that life style does not come easily, and often results in massive debt.
Here Is The Secret (Shhh)
Find out how they were living when they were at the stage you are. if you are 30 years old, how were they living at 30; How were they living before they had riches? Find out where your journey matches theirs and find out what they were doing then.
Chances are they were working hard, living frugally; chances are they were paying a price that allowed them to be who they are now.
Imitation Is The Most Sincere Form of Flattery
Ask yourself (and think carefully) what successful person would you most like to resemble or emulate?
Ok, who were they before they arrived at their desired place? THAT is who you want to be at this time.
Read their biographies, listen to them talk about their journey, and you will find that a price was paid, and that price paid gave them their desired end. Ive stated other places, I am not telling you what you ought to do with your life, or what you ought to strive to be; or what you should have; My mission is to tell you there is a path to getting there, to help you get on that path and see it to its end.
Due Consideration
We each have one life. Maybe go through the exercise of asking the question: What will offer me the greatest satisfaction when all is done? When my life is nearing its end what will I be glad that I have done, have been, or possessed. Let that counsel guide you to the right mentor. What we do, what we are, what we have.
